It is a government college situated in Lucknow, UP. But it was renamed as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University to honour the former President of India.<\/li>\n<li>The admission of students was based on performance in the UPSEE examination. But now, the college considers JEE Main scores for admission to B.Tech courses..<\/li>\n<li>AKTU uses a digital evaluation system to check students\u2019 answer sheets. In this, the teachers scan the answer sheet, which is then checked online. This makes the checking process simple and accurate.<\/li>\n<li>In this university, the academic year has two semesters, odd and even. The exam for the odd semester happens in December.
