It is a national exam used to select applicants for officer positions. Both the written exam and the SSB interview are part of the selection process. General Knowledge covers current affairs, Indian history, geography, polity, economy, science, and defense-related updates.<\/p>\n<p>Elementary Mathematics is based on Class 10 level and includes arithmetic (time, work, interest, profit &amp; loss), algebra, trigonometry (basic identities and heights &amp; distances), geometry, mensuration (areas and volumes), and statistics (data interpretation and averages). All papers are objective in nature, with negative marking for wrong answers, and only a black ball pen is allowed.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CDS_Physical_Standards\"><\/span>CDS Physical Standards<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Candidates must be healthy and physically fit according to the guidelines.
