Generally, rules of tense are in the category of subject-verb agreement, but apart from these rules there are some other rules by which a subject agrees to the verb.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" rules.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Rules for Subject-Verb Agreement<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Two nouns or pronouns when joined by \u2018and\u2019 takes plural verb.<br
