BITS Direct Admission for Board Toppers

BITS Pilani offers direct admission to the top-ranking students of all central and state boards for the program of their choice, regardless of their BITSAT score. Students who top the PCM stream can choose any first-degree program, while those who top the PCB stream are eligible for the B. Pharm. program only.
However, they must meet the minimum marks required in PCM/PCB subjects in their 12th-class examination as per the eligibility criteria.
To be considered for admission under this category, students must have submitted the BITSAT application form within the specified deadline. The institute will obtain the list of board toppers from the respective boards. Students must also provide proof of their status as board topper by submitting their mark sheet and a letter from the respective board.

BITS Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) for International Students

Students who are not citizens of India can apply for admission under this category. To be eligible, applicants must have completed their 12th grade or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with adequate proficiency in English. They should have an overall aggregate of at least 75% (or 7.5 out of 10) in these subjects, with a minimum of 60% (or 6.0 out of 10) in each individual subject.

For the SAT exam, candidates need to achieve a minimum aggregate score of 1160 (out of 1600) in the SAT, as well as a minimum score of 1600 (out of 2400) in SAT Subject Tests in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Level 2.
