1.	Academic	Candidates should have qualified JEE mains, and their rank should be from the top 2,50,000 in JEE mains including all categories. Candidates need to pass 10+2 or have appeared in the year of applying for JEE advanced.
2.	Age limit	The maximum age limit for appearing in JEE advanced is 25 for the general category. However, 5 years of relaxation will be given for candidates from SC, ST, PwD and other reserved categories.
3.	Attempts	A candidate can have a total of 2 attempts in two consecutive years.
