Cells with secondary cell wall have pits in their cell wall. Only sclerenchyma cells and tracheary elements have secondary cell wall. Parenchyma, collenchyma, meristems, albuminous cells, companion cells, sieve cells, sieve tubes do not have pits as they lack secondary cell wall.
