Solution

In a medium,
$F_{m} = \frac{F}{K}$
From above expression it is quite clear that greater the value of K smaller is the force between the two charges. Electric dipole moment is directly proportional to dielectric constant. Polarization is dipole moment per unit volume. Since polarization varies proporticnally to dielectric constant, so does the dipole moment.
