JEE Advanced Paper Analysis: The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) is one of the most sought-after engineering entrance exams in India. It serves as a gateway for students to secure admissions into prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other renowned engineering institutions. The JEE Advanced 2022 witnessed an array of changes in its exam pattern and content. In this blog, we will delve into a detailed analysis of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the JEE Advanced 2022 examination.
Here is a video link of the same.
Overall Observations:
Most students felt the questions from Physics were easy to moderately difficulty. There were several questions that the students strived to answer. The questions came from the topics like mechanics, electrodynamics, optics, ultramodern physics, heat and thermodynamics.
The chemistry section was easy for most of the students. Questions asked in the exam were from the topics related to Physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and organic chemistry. Out of all the questions asked in the Chemistry paper, about 5 questions were easy, 12 moderate, and 2 difficult.
In comparison to Chemistry and Physics, Mathematics was a long paper. Algebra, figure, vectors, and trigonometry were among the subjects covered. In Mathematics, there were comparatively many easy questions, while the rest were relatively very easy.
According to students’ feedback, questions from classes 11th and 12th were asked throughout the Chemistry part. More questions from class 11th were asked in the Physics section. The mathematics section was the most easy, and the class 11th syllabus was given further weightage. The difficulty level of JEE Advanced Paper 1 was moderate.
From 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. the JEE Advanced Paper 2 was held. In terms of difficulty, the test ranged from moderate to easy. The 12th grade syllabus was given more weightage in the Chemistry subject.
Moderate Level. Weightage was given to chapters of Maths and Algebra. Many tricky questions were asked from chapters of Area under Angles, Differential Equations, integral, Probability and Statistics, theorem, Complex Figures, Matrices, 3D- Figure, Hyperbola and Parabola. Numerical Based questions had lengthy computations.
Easy Level. Questions asked from nearly all chapters. Weightage was given to chapters like Kinematics, Electromagnetic Induction, Optics, Systems for communication. Chapters in Class XII are given fresh weight. The questions were substantially formula-based.
Moderate to Easy. When compared to Physical Chemistry, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry had more questions. Chemistry in Everyday Life, Ores and Metallurgy, Environmental Chemistry, and Collaboration Compounds all had significant weightage. Chemical Equilibrium and Chemical Kinetics questions were asked in Physical Chemistry. Amines were given a lot of attention in Organic Chemistry. Long computations were needed for the numerical questions.
In JEE Advanced, there are two obligatory papers Paper I and Paper II, each lasting three hours. Campaigners must write and pass both tests in order to advance.
JEE Advanced is considered to be tougher than the Main examination since it covers a wider range of motifs than those tutored in class 11 and 12, and it also assesses aspirants' problem- working capacities
The candidate should be aware that JEE Main is the prerequisite for JEE Advanced. The candidate should concentrate on the JEE Main syllabus first, and then prepare for the Advanced and go over the syllabus after passing the mains.
