JEE Main 2025 exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), will take place in two sessions: January and April. To prepare effectively, understanding the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern is essential. The exam will be held in two shifts—morning and evening—and will include three papers: Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), and Paper 2B (B.Planning).

For all the papers, candidates must answer 5 numerical value questions (NVQs) in Section B of each subject without any choices. This is a change from previous years, where candidates could choose to attempt any 5 out of 10 questions. Despite this adjustment, the overall exam pattern remains the same for both sessions. However, there are slight variations in the patterns of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
