JEE Mains 2024 – 75 Percent Criteria
Last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) introduced the 75 per cent criteria in JEE Mains 2023, as a part of the eligibility criteria. Candidates aspiring for admission to their desired institutes now need a minimum of 75% in their class 12th exams to qualify for JEE Mains. Prior to last year, this additional requirement was not applicable.
It is crucial to note that any candidate failing to meet the 75 per cent criteria will be deemed ineligible and disqualified from receiving admission offers at renowned institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. This criterion holds significant weightage and must be fulfilled to secure admission to the desired institutions.
JEE Mains 2024 Number of Attempts
The number of attempts for JEE Main 2024 will be decided by the NTA. It is expected that the number of attempts will be limited to three for the 2024 exam. This is in line with the NTA’s policy of allowing only three attempts for all major entrance exams.
In order to improve their chances of getting admission in a good college, students should focus on maximizing their scores in each of the three attempts. This can be done by preparing well for the exam and making use of the resources available.
