The National Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) was convened by the Joint Council to assess students’ understanding of the concepts of Mathematics and Science. Tests provide a detailed answer to the mind when a student is lagging behind and in need of improvement.
Apart from India, the tests were also performed in Indonesia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain, Libya, Nepal, Yemen, Russia and Tanzania.
A scientifically designed test, based on the skills developed in India for Indian schools, following a detailed study of the syllabus of Central and various State Boards. Rather than testing memorization, it assesses how well the SKILLS and IDEAS below the school syllabus are read by the student.
The test provides information about the strengths and weaknesses of each student and the whole class.

Students from Class 2 to Class 12 studying in recognized schools across India, including CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards, are eligible to apply. The criteria differ slightly for specific grades, as explained below:
Understanding the eligibility criteria ensures that you:
Only questions from your official UP Board Class 9 syllabus will be asked in the NSTSE exam. Because NCERT and UP Board are on the same page, their syllabus is the same for all K-12 tests.
Visit the official website at unifiedcouncil.com to apply for NSTSE registration. To register, go to the registration link, fill in all the relevant details, and pay the required fee.
The number of points you get from NSTSE does not affect your eligibility for level 2. The initial test determines whether you qualify for the second level. The top 100 senior executives across India, as well as those with the top 20 levels in each class, will be promoted to level 2 and qualify for the exam. However, if a student is in first grade, he or she will not qualify for the second grade. Only students in Grades 2 to 12 are given the NSTSE level 2 examination. This test will determine the final outcome.
