Cytochromes are found in
Cytochromes are found in the cristae of the mitochondria.
The cytochromes are integral part of complex III (Cyt ) and complex IV (cyt a and cytochrome ) of electron transport system in respiration. These cytochromes are present in the inner mitochondrial membrane. The mobile electron carrier from complex III to complex IV is Cytochrome c which is located towards the outer side of the inner mitochondrial membrane.
