Solution

A typical dihybrid cross is done between a pea plant having round and yellow seeds with a pea plant having green and wrinkled seed. The F₂ generation will have the ratio 9 (round and yellow):3(round and green):3 (wrinkled and yellow):1(wrinkled and green). Therefore, the probability of getting wrinkled seeds is $\frac{(3 + 1)}{(9 + 3 + 3 + 1)} = \frac{4}{16} = \frac{1}{4}$
