We know that ${pV}^{γ} = K$
$∴ {ΔpV}^{γ} + {pγV}^{γ - 1} ΔV = 0$
or $(Δp / p) = - γ (ΔV / V)$
For monatomic gas $γ = 5 / 3$
$∴ (Δp / p) = (5 / 3) \times 24 % = 40 %$
