$\begin{array}{l} In tangent galvanometer, \\ I \propto \tan θ \\ ∴ \frac{I_{1}}{I_{2}} = \frac{\tan θ_{1}}{\tan θ_{2}} \\ \Rightarrow \frac{I_{1}}{I_{1} / \sqrt{3}} = \frac{\tan 45^{0}}{\tan θ_{2}} \\ \Rightarrow θ_{2} = 30^{\circ} \\ So, deflection will decrease by 45^{\circ} - 30^{\circ} = 15^{\circ} \end{array}$
