Detailed Solution

  Acid                              NaOH(base)

Va =25ml                        Vb = 28ml

Na =?                             Nb = 0.1N

equivalency

      VaNa = VbNb

     25(Na) = 28(0.1)

          N_a=\frac{2.8}{25}

Given , Wa = 0.84g  ,  GMW of acid =225g

          Vsol = 100ml

\therefore N=\frac{W}{GEW}X\frac{1000}{V(ml)}

\frac{2.8}{25}=\frac{0.84}{GEW}X\frac{1000}{100}

EW of acid =75g

MW of acid = 225g

Basicity\; of\; acid =\frac{225}{75}=3

Hence the correct answer is (C)3
