Detailed Solution

Inverted and real images are formed in the pinhole camera.
A pinhole camera is a simple camera that does not contain any lens. Its arrangement is simple and can be made with rectangular boxes. One side of the rectangular box should have a small hole. It produces a smaller, real and inverted image on the opposite side of the wall that contains a hole. A pinhole camera can form a bigger image of the object too. The pinhole camera forms a real, upside-down image and the image size depends on the distance between the screen and the pinhole. Pinhole cameras work rectilinear propagation of light principle. Light falls from the object through the pinhole and forms a smaller image on the screen if the screen and the pinhole are close. If the distance between the screen and the pinhole increases, it forms a larger image.
