Detailed Solution

The Society of Revolutionary and  The Republican Women were two women's clubs in France.
Women founded their political clubs and journals to discuss and voice their ideas. Approximately sixty women's clubs sprang up in various French cities. The most well-known was the Society of Revolutionary and Republican Women. Women had an active role in the events that led to many significant changes in French society right from the start. They hoped that getting involved would put pressure on the revolutionary government to enact policies that would improve their lives. The majority of third estate women had to work to support themselves. Only daughters of nobles or more affluent third estate citizens were permitted to attend convent school; following graduation; their families arranged their marriages. Working women also had to take care of their families, which included cooking, fetching water, standing in line for bread, and watching over the kids. They earned less money than men did.
