Detailed Solution

Buranjis are a class of historical chronicles and manuscripts written initially in the Ahom Language and afterwards in the Assamese language. The first of these Buranji was written for Sukaphaa, the first Ahom king who founded the Ahom kingdom in 1228. A rare form of historical literature in India is the Buranjis. Buranjis were divided into two categories: official Buranjis, which date back to the reign of the first Ahom king Sukaphaa, and family Buranjis, which date back to the 16th century. The official Buranjis included details about significant events reported by trustworthy witnesses, letters from allies' rulers, tax records, announcements, various types of annual reports, etc.
