This is different from other states, which have their governments. India has eight Union Territories: Jammu and Kashmir, the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Puducherry, Ladakh, and Lakshadweep. The area that makes up Lakshadweep is the smallest of all the Union Territories. On the other hand, the area of the Andaman and Nicobar islands is the largest of all the Union Territories.
