Indian democracy is indirect democracy or representative democracy. India follows the first-past-the-post voting system. In this system, citizens first elect their representatives through elections then the elected representatives work on behalf of the country's citizens because everyone cannot understand the experiences of the country and participate in the political system where one of the organs of the country is responsible for forming ordinances. The ruling government or the current government means the executive and their organs have been elected by the people, some elected directly and some indirectly, but all organs are representatives of the people to run the government.
