Detailed Solution

Napoleon established the Civil Code of 1804.
The Napoleonic Code, also known as the Civil Code of 1804, abolished all privileges based on birth, set equality before the law, and guaranteed property rights. This code was exported to French-controlled territories. In addition, Napoleon simplified administrative divisions, abolished the feudal system, and freed peasants from serfdom and manorial dues in the Dutch Republic, Switzerland, Italy, and Germany. Guild restrictions were also lifted in the towns. In addition, transportation and communication systems were also upgraded.
