Detailed Solution

Burhan-ul-Mulk Sa'adat Khan founded the state of Awadh.
In Northern India, the city of Awadh was a lush and prosperous province with a sizable populace. It was a significant Mughal Empire province and was dissolved in February 1856. Burhan-ul-Mulk established Khan Saadat Awadh as a sovereign state (AD1722-1739). Saadat Khan served as the Governor of Awadh under Muhammed Shah, the Mughal emperor.
