Detailed Solution

Sieving is a method by which fine particles are separated from bigger particles using a sieve.
A technique used to remove smaller particles from larger ones is called sieving. For example, wheat is cleaned in a flour mill of contaminants like husk and stones before being ground. Likewise, sand is sieved at building sites to remove pebbles and stones. Sieving is done using a sieve containing pores that allow small substances to pass through, whereas the larger ones are left behind.
