In Jhumming farming, primitive tools are used, and all the work is done through human labour. The rural people usually do this farming; in this, they used to burn a piece of land and grow cereals there, and when the soil fertility decreased, they cleared the other piece of land and started farming there. It has many different names: Mexico as Milpa, Central Africa as Masoli, Australia as Ladang, and Brazil as Roca.
