Detailed Solution

Faience is artificially produced material used for making beads, bangles and tiny vessels. The Harappans created a very small-scale glassy faience that came in a wide range of hues, including white, blue-green, deep blue, and even red-brown. Faience is a manufactured substance, as opposed to naturally occurring materials like stone or shell. Sand or powdered quartz was moulded into an item using the gum. After that, the items were coated, giving their surface a dazzling, glassy appearance. The glaze was often blue or sea green. Beads, bangles, earrings, and miniature dishes were all made of faience. To spin thread, they were employed. This ornament may have been inlaid onto a metal ornament or sewed onto fabric.
