Detailed Solution

The Civil Code is popularly called the Napoleonic Code.
Napoleon established the monarchy again and introduced some of the most revolutionary changes in the administrative system. He founded the Civil Code in 1804, popularly called the Napoleonic Code. This Code marked everyone equal before the law. This abolished all the privileges based on birth. Hence the feudal system was abolished in many parts of Europe, notably in Switzerland, the Dutch Republic, Italy and Germany. So the peasants were freed from the clutches of serfdom and their dues. The peasants, workers and other people of trade enjoyed the new freedoms that helped their businesses to grow and flourish.
