MGNREGA is the government scheme introduced to provide 100 days of employment to rural households.
To give rural households 100 days of paid work, MGNREGA was introduced in 2005.
The individuals who live in poverty are guaranteed paid work thanks to this program. By this plan, the Gram Panchayat shall carefully check registered households before issuing work cards.
Within 15 days of registration, the job card enables the government to request or request work under the legislation. The government will be entitled to unemployment benefits for that person if he doesn't find a job within 15 days.
