Detailed Solution

Globalisation is the integration of production centres and markets across countries.
It is the rapid integration of countries through foreign trade and foreign investment by MNCs. The MNCs look out for countries with cheap labour and resources. They establish their production centres in such countries or place orders with small producers providing cheap exports. They do so to maximise their profits, and the small producers have to cut labour costs by hiring employees flexibly. Due to flexible hiring, the labourers do not get paid throughout the year, and also, the salary they receive is much less than their workload. Therefore, globalisation has not improved the living conditions of people.
