Detailed Solution

Alluri Sitarama Raju is the leader of the Guerilla movement.
The teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and the concept of swaraj were perceived very differently by tribal peasants. For example, a militant guerrilla organisation grew in the Andhra Pradesh Gudem Hills in the early 1920s. Congress could not sanction this type of conflict. Alluri Sitarama Raju, the guerilla movement's leader, praised Mahatma Gandhi for his grandeur and claimed that Swaraj and the Non-Cooperation Movement had inspired him. He convinced people to give up drinking and wear khadi. However, he also argued that force, not non-violence, was the only way to free India. The Gudem rebels waged guerilla warfare to achieve swaraj, attacked police stations, and made murderous attempts on British officials.
