Detailed Solution

Diamond Sutra is the name of the oldest Japanese Book. It is a Buddhist textbook produced and printed in Japan after the print technology of hand printing was promulgated in the East Asian country by Buddhist missionaries from China around AD 768 to 770. The Buddhist Diamond Sutra consists of six sheets of text. The textbook also consists of woodcut illustrations. With the advent of print technology in Japan, pictures began to be printed in Japanese textbooks on play cards, textiles, and paper money. The distinguishing feature of the print culture and printed books in Japan was that the books in Japan were cheap and abundant, in contrast to early China, and poems and prose were published frequently.
