Detailed Solution

The Reserve Bank of India issues the currency notes on behalf of the Central Government.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) alone is responsible for printing the currency notes on behalf of the Central Government of India. The exclusive authority for issuing notices in the country is the Reserve Bank. The Reserve Bank of India is tasked with designing, producing, and managing the country's currency in conjunction with the government of India to guarantee a sufficient supply of clean and authentic notes. According to Section 25, the Central Government must approve the design, form, and material of banknotes after considering any recommendations made by the Central Board of the RBI.
