Detailed Solution

Baba Ramchandra led the peasant movement of the Awadh during the non-cooperation movement. Awadh also started the Non-cooperation movement against talukdars and landlords because they exploited peasants, and the livelihood of Awadh’s locals deteriorated. The peasants and locals got angry, demanded high rents and were not used to paying a penny for their labour in fields at home. It eventually spread to the rural parts of the country as well.
