Detailed Solution

3 parties were involved in the Tripartite struggle. Three sides engaged in a triangular conflict to seize control of Kanauj, which was crucial from a geopolitical standpoint. The Gurjara, Pratihara, Rashtrakuta, and Pala kingdoms were the participants in the triangular conflict. The Tripartite conflict over northern India took place in the ninth century. The Pratihara Empire, the Pala Empire, and the Rashtrakuta Empire were at odds with one another. Harsh was followed by Kannauj, which attracted a variety of powers. Up until the Gupta era, it attained the same status as Magadh. Harsh and Yashovarman, the two monarchs, turned it into a symbol of imperial supremacy.
