Detailed Solution

The Justice party did not support the boycott of council elections during the movement. The Justice Party, officially the South Indian Liberal Federation, was a political party in the Office of the President of Madras, British India. Mudaliar founded it in 1916. The social divisions between the Brahmins and the non-Brahmins began in the presidency in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, mainly due to the racist and unequal representation of the Brahminical in the public service. The formation of the Justice Group marked the culmination of several attempts to establish a non-Brahmin movement in Madras and is considered the beginning of the Dravidian Movement.
