Detailed Solution

Chutney music is a fusion of Indian folk music, specifically Bhojpuri folk music, local Caribbean calypso, and soca music, as well as Bollywood music. Drupatee Ramgoonai of Trinidad and Tobago coined the term chutney soca in 1987 in her first album, Chutney Soca, which featured a mix of Trinidadian English and Trinidadian Hindustani versions of the songs. The current spelling of the term was not established at the time.
This music is well-known in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, and other Caribbean countries. It combines local and Bhojpuri music. This music emerged in the 1940s. In the 1940s, this music was heard in temples, wedding halls, and cane fields. Another creative contemporary expression of post-indentured experiences was chutney music.
