The 1800s, in Indian history, were the time of the collapse of Muslim dynasties across India. To avoid this, they started to educate Muslims on the significance of keeping Islamic daily life practices. During this time, the Deoband seminary, founded in 1867, began to print Fatwas—legal documents signed by multiple scholars to clarify or justify topics relevant to the Muslim community—that explained how to live one's daily life by Islamic doctrines.
