Detailed Solution

Buddha taught that life is full of suffering and unhappiness. According to him, our desires are the root cause of this. Even when we receive what we desire, there are instances when we are not satisfied and want even more or want other things. The Buddha referred to this as tanha or thirst. He advocated practising moderation in all things to eliminate this enduring craving. He also instilled in the values of kindness and respect for all living things, including animals. He held that the consequences of our deeds—known as karma—affect us both in this life and the one after—whether they are good or harmful. In addition, he urged people to question what he stated rather than just accepting it.
