Bhotiyas tribes of the Himalayas followed an annual pattern of cyclical movement. They live in seven river valleys in Uttarakhand, four of which are in the Kumaon division and three in the Garhwal division. With some farming and pastoralism, Indo-Tibetan trade has historically been their primary source of income.
