Detailed Solution

Rinderpest was a fast-spreading disease in cattle during the 1890s in Africa. It was carried to Africa by infected cattle that were imported from British Asia. As the infected cattle came in contact with the cattle in Africa, it spread like wildfire. Rinderpest can be held responsible for killing over 90% of the African cattle. As a result, many African natives lost their livelihood. The European colonists captured the remaining cattle resources. The natives of Africa were forced into the labour market. They were employed in the mines, plantations, etc.
