Detailed Solution

Henry Ford was a pioneer of mass production.
Mass production was an important characteristic of the growing American economy of the 1920s. To his new vehicle facility in Detroit, he adopted assembly line production. Workers were required to repeat a single duty mechanically and continually on an assembly line. This was a method of increasing productivity per worker by quickening the labour rate. As a result, Henry Ford's cars came off the assembly line at three-minute intervals, at a significantly faster rate than previous techniques. The Ford T-Model was the world's first mass-produced car. The cost of items was reduced due to mass production, resulting in mass consumption.
