Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was  Chairman of the Drafting Committee.
The founder of the Indian Constitution is credited to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. The Constituent Assembly constituted a Drafting Committee on August 29, 1947. The chairman of this Drafting Committee was Ambedkar. The Constituent Assembly's Drafting Committee was in charge of drafting the Constitution. In addition to being a well-known public figure, he was a politician, social reformer, and attorney. He was given the Union Law Portfolio in India's first cabinet. He advocated for eliminating socioeconomic inequalities and stood for equality for all. He wrote the Indian Constitution. In his final speech, Dr Ambedkar said that political democracy must coexist with economic and social democracy.
