Detailed Solution

El dorado was the fabled city of gold.
For centuries, the Indian Ocean had known a swarming trade with goods, people, knowledge, customs, etc. Europe’s wealth was enhanced by the mines, as it had precious metals, particularly silver, located in present-day Peru and Mexico, which included El Dorado; this also financed Europe’s trade with Asia. The conquests of the Portuguese and the Spanish and the colonisation of America were conclusively underway by the mid-16th century. It is said that the pre-modern world shrank significantly in the 16th century because of the above situations taking place in the world. The European sailors discovered a sea route to Asia and successfully crossed the western ocean to America. Before the discovery of sea routes, America was isolated for millions of years, but from the 16th century, its vast lands, crops, and minerals began to transform trade and lives everywhere.
