Birsa Munda led all the movements during the freedom struggle. He led the campaign against British repression by calling for "Ulgulan" and fought valiantly against the oppressive system of the British colonial administration (Revolution). Munda basically led the tribals to stop non-tribals from taking their land and turning them into bonded labourers on their land.
