Detailed Solution

General Dye was responsible for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre was related to General Dyer. General Dyer gave the command because he saw the crowd gathered in Jallianwala bagh/ park. General Dyer passed an act, “The martial law”. According to his act, no more than two people can gather or form a group and meet at a place. This act aimed to resist the mobilised protest against the ruling authorities. It stops the revolt against the Rowlatt act. Rowlatt act was also known as the black act because this act was the cause of the Jallianwala massacre.
