Detailed Solution

Britain was the first country which undergoes the industrial revolution.
Gradually, it spread to other European countries such as France, Germany, and Belgium. Though the revolution started in the 1730s, the number of factories multiplied only by the end of the 18th century. Factories, mainly cotton, that bloomed during the time marked the new era of industrialisation. The main reason behind the success of cotton factories was the variety of inventions that took place in them at different production stages. These innovations increased their efficacy and enabled every worker to produce more. Later, both the iron and cotton industries flourished at a faster rate.
