Detailed Solution

Sa'adat Khan was the founder of the province of Awadh. Burhan-ul-Mulk Saa'dat Khan, in 1722, was chosen to lead the Awadh state as its first ruler. The Mughal Empire's first territory to secede was this one. Due to its dominance over the thriving commerce routes from Delhi to Bengal and the lush Ganga valley, Awadh was an affluent province. Subadari, Diwani, and faujdari were amalgamated by Burhan-ul-Mulk, who also reduced the number of Mughal-appointed officers. As a result, Awadh experienced less Mughal influence. In addition, to stop fraud and corruption, he decreased the number of jagirs.
