Detailed Solution

November Criminals was the name given to the members of the Weimar Republic.
People who supported the Weimar Republic, particularly socialists, Catholics, and Democrats, were called November criminals since they were supposed to be in charge of negotiating the Versailles Treaty. The Versailles Treaty between the Allies and the Weimar Republic was recognised and signed by them. They were known as the November Criminals by Germany's political adversaries because they thought the German army had the strength to continue fighting, that giving up was a betrayal or crime, and that the British military had not lost the battle. The German Revolution of 1918–1919 was aided and abetted by several November Criminals, early resistance leaders. A few led the Weimar Republic, which later became the cornerstone of postwar German reconstruction.
