Detailed Solution

Alexander Kerensky was the P.M. when the Russian revolution began. The interim government established in 1917 at Petrograd in Russia was led by Kerensky. On November 7, 1917, the Kerensky-led temporary government was overthrown in Russia as part of the Bolshevik Revolution. Keeping Russia in the conflict was Kerensky's goal. He lost the backing of soldiers who no longer wanted to fight as a result of his choice. Additionally, he lost the backing of the working class and peasants who wanted the food shortages to stop. In 1917, from late July to early November, a Russian lawyer and revolutionary Alexander Fyodorovich Kerensky served as the head of both the Russian Republic and the Russian Provisional Government.
