Detailed Solution

The Estates General was the political body representing the three estates of pre-revolutionary France.
Estates-General was a political body. In this Assembly, representatives were sent from three estates. First, Estates-General was known as States-General. This Estates-General was further converted to Assembly, in which members of three estates became the representatives in this political body known as Estates General. The clergy became the first estate, the nobility became the second estate, and everybody else, which comprised 90% of France’s Revolution, became the Third Estate. These three estates became the representative of the General Assembly. Bourgeoisie, Artisans, and Peasants formed their three groups in this political body known as the Estates-General. The Estates-General was the last estate of the Kingdom of France.
